FAQs

How does Semaglutide work?

Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications called GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs). These compounds mimic the natural GLP-1 hormone, which plays a key role in blood sugar and appetite regulation.

GLP-1 RAs help:

How do I take compounded semaglutide?

Inject subcutaneously once a week using an insulin syringe. You’ll receive a sterile multi-dose vial, alcohol swabs, a dosing chart, and a short video showing how to draw up the exact volume.

Do I need to refrigerate it?

Yes—store the vial at 36–46 °F / 2–8 °C. After the first puncture, the solution is stable for 28 days at room temperature (68–77 °F); discard any leftover after that period.

How soon will I see results?

Many patients notice a smaller appetite within 1–2 weeks and begin to lose weight over 4–8 weeks, although results vary with dose, diet, and activity level.

What are the side effects?

Mild nausea, bloating, or fatigue can occur in the first few weeks and usually fade as the dose increases. Contact your clinician immediately for severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting.

Can I use this if I’m not diabetic?

Yes—provided you meet our BMI and medical-necessity criteria. We prescribe compounded semaglutide for weight optimisation in non-diabetic adults under physician supervision.

Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved. Vials were prepared before the FDA’s May 22 2025 deadline and are dispensed only when a documented medical need exists.
